Economic Policies of PTI & Pakistani Politics:

Economic Policies of PTI & Pakistani Politics:

This is the very first time in Pakistan, when any political party come up with their Economic & Local Government policy. Critics are also active now to criticise Economic policies given by PTI on 24 of August 2012. But yet, I didn’t found any solid point yet from any critics on given policies. Instead of criticising or given different policies, Punjab’s or LAHORE’s political party is reply like:

·         ‘We have tested nuclear bomb’
·         ‘Laptops were distributed by us’
·         ‘No Yellow Cab scheme? :-&’
·         ‘Motorway is gift from our VISIONERY leadership.’ etc etc...

Neither I am an economist, NOR any FINANCIAL analyst. But being an active youth, I really do care for Pakistan. I really want to see Pakistan, A prosper and a Better Pakistan. Policies given by PTI should be appreciated. At least a political party come up with a different political culture. They are thinking beyond Political slogans & FAKE Manifesto’s. Now people of Pakistan are free to decide how they can bring CHANGE, What will be their policies after coming into Power.

Let me start from PTI’s reform agenda’s as discussing current government’s bad governance and corruption is pretty USUAL & USELESS.

PTI claims that they will cut down inflation from 12% to 7%, will increase industrial growth from 1% to 9%, they will cut down fiscal deficit to 4.5%. And they will increase tax revenue up to 15%.

Khan always gives high emphasis on tax collection. He believes that his government can collect tax easily as he collect funds for Shaukat Khanum.
Well here I would say collecting funds i.e. Zakat Khairaat & Sadqaat is pretty easy, BUT collecting TAX from a Nation who never pays TAX is really a difficult task. BUT yes, I personally believe that PTI can collect and achieve their set target. But for that, they have to change entire tax collecting procedure.

National emergency Declaration:

Points mentioned in National Emergency declaration must be obliged. Energy Reforms, Institutions reforms, Expenditure & revenue Reforms are the real solutions. Even current government announced education emergency as well. BUT we have seen Presidencies yearly budget is higher than Pakistan’s whole education budget!

Accountability emergency:

Well accountability emergency is really admirable, BUT accountability must be across the boards. And Judges, Media persons, Media houses, Army and all politicians should be accountable. If this could be done, I believe corruption can come to 0 ZERO in 5years.

Dissolving of Railway Ministry and handing PIA to independent Board:

Most important and wise policy given by PTI regarding PIA & Railway. Railway ministry is totally of no use. Railway’s condition is all in front of us. India has even started METRO trains and makes Indian Railway a profitable institute. BUT here, after few months, Prime Minister is announcing BAIL out packages for Railway.
Emirates Airline & Air Malta, both is indirectly made by PIA. Even in beginning, Emirates have taken PIA aircraft on lease hired PIA’s captain to fly it. Even PIA’s airhostess trained many airlines airhostesses. AND NOW PIA is world’s most 3rd class airline, where as Emirates have been awarded awards every year. No one believes that PIA’s airhostess costumes were previously designed by France’s best designers. Even PIA was awarded best economy class Meals serving award & best costume award many times. BUT now, PIA’s worst condition is all in front of us. Taking PIA from defence ministry back will be a positive in PIA’s interest.

Government Reforms Emergency:

Well after reading it, I can only WISH PTI best of luck to implement it. If it could be implemented, Pakistan will be one of the finest govern state in the world.

Expenditure Emergency:

Pakistan badly need’s Expenditure Emergency. Cutting down ministries from 37 to 17 and abolishing policy of free and subsidized plots must be appreciated by every Pakistani. Even they have announced, not to give developing funds to parliamentarians will be a positive stance. All local level development will be the responsibility of Local government (policy was previously announced by PTI).

REVENUE Collection & Health Sector Emergency:

After reading this, I have realized that our current government is spending nothing on Health sector. That’s why all POLITICIANS go abroad for even their Minor check-up. Obviously, they are living PROSCH lifestyle, HOW can they use these so called MEDICAL FACILITIES.

Education Emergency:

Since last many years, I always say same that Pakistan needs EDUCATION EMERGENCY. After reading first line, i.e ‘Khud Mukhtar Pakistani – one education system’ makes me curious that after coming in POWER, what will be the future of private schools runs by PTI’s top leaders. Yes, I am talking about city school & beacon house. As far as I know, both school network which is also recognize by Guinness’s world record of largest school chain is own & operated by Qusuri’s. Well may be after coming in power, they will turned them into government school. Or maybe make their fees very nominal, from 15000 to 500Rs per month.

Rapid Industrial growth for jobs & helping Youth:

Again, rapid industrial growth is required. Hopefully the given policies can work. I am not industrial or financial analyst, BUT after reading this, I personally think that this may work.

Agriculture Reforms:

No government have given importance to agriculture sector. Pakistan is an agro based economy. Policies given to cut down cost of production, efficient market & community dairy farming is today’s need. I personally think that Agriculture policy is no doubt good and can work as well.

Whole Economic policy given by PTI team must be appreciated. I know very soon, COPY PASTERS will also give almost same policies with the addition of SASTI ROTI, Income support programs, DANISH school, Yellow Cab and Laptop schemes. BUT, no doubt after this policy; PTI have changed the style of politics. NOW people don’t want to hear ROTI-KAPRA-MAKAN, but interested in know how they will generate revenue to provide them ROTI-KAPRA-MAKAN.
That was old days, when people vote on false promises. Now I can say, I have a HOPE; HOPE of Prosper Pakistan, Hope for Developed Pakistan, and Hoped of Literate Pakistan... YES, WE CAN...

Dr. Funniest Malik

Dr. Funniest Malik

Unfortunately we are surrounded by people who are Zardari Uncle’s relative or one who accompanied him during his days in prison.  One of them is our Interior Minister since PPP government came into power, Dr. Rehman Malik.

Since he took charge, I always found him travelling, working, convincing coalition partners etc. Especially on Karachi’s worst law & order situation, I have always found him on great stance.  He always talks about PEACE in Karachi/Pakistan but unfortunately I must say that he is FAILED in making Pakistan a terrorist free country. Law & order situation of Pakistan especially Karachi is getting worst & worst as day passes. We Karachites didn’t find a single day when there is peace in Karachi. Not even a single hour when we can say that no firing and murder is reported. Malik Sahab is also famous because of his funny statements, during massive target killings in Karachi, he told media that

“Out of 100, only 30 were victims of targeted violence in Karachi while 70 others died at the hands of their wives or girlfriends.”:P (FUNNY :-D).
While buttering MQM, he said that Altaf Bhai is a visionary person.  (HAHHAHAHAHA...).
Once he said: He would resign if the private security company Blackwater was found operating in Pakistan.

Recently he Says: government’s job is to ensure security and safety of people, With due Respect, Sir; you have FAILED so far in case you didn't know.

At the end of press conferences, he used to say: ‘Mujhay Sab pata hai, Waqt anay per Bataoga.’
But the statement issued by his parties former Sindh’s interior minister was really Hilarious:
Mirza said, if Rehman Malik eating Apple, he says he is eating Banana. Malik is a born liar (LOLZ) after hearing Mirza’s press conference I can’t control my laugh. It was REALLY hilarious and alarming as well.

Malik Sahab really loves Pakistanis and recently On Eid; he gives an Eid present (EIDI) to All Pakistani’s especially residents of Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Quetta & Islamabad. That present will remain with us for 14 hours. Yes I am talking about jamming of Mobile services. According to Rough Estimation, Cellular Companies in Pakistan have faced almost 100 Million Rs. losses in those 14 hours.

Now I really want to Ask Malik Sahab, Is this the Solution? We are the only country who has blocked their cellular services just because of Threat! Countries usually suspend their Cellular services during Wars. BUT you can’t find a single Example. BUT yes, Because of our Interior ministry, now we are the example in front of whole world.

I am associated with Youth Parliament of Pakistan & International Youth congress (U.S.A). This makes my huge social network. On chand raat, it was really very irritating for me to reply everyone on Facebook and twitter that why Pakistani government have suspended our Cellular services, When It will resume, why I am not replying them etc etc. Representing Pakistan Internationally with a positive image is really difficult nowadays.
One of my friend, who is also affiliated with a political party have posted this on his status:

Rehman Malik has great logic:

  •  Instead of tracing the location of the SIM and its own; he banned Mobile Services.
  • Instead of tracing those who makes fake-documentation (CNIC/Passport); he is going to ban Pre-Paid Mobile Service.
  • Instead taking measure to tighten security on check posts; he makes fake claims.

  • Instead depoliticizing the police department; he negotiates with the maker of target killers.
Instead of tracing the IP address of a computer; he would block internet service as well.
Instead of de-weaponization; he is barricading whole country.
Instead of doing something in real; he appears on media like he's a superstar.

I completely agree with him. I really want to know what our interior ministry have done in their tenure. It’s been more than 4.5 years, what are their achievements. With due respect, this is Election YEAR... Try to act wisely.

If there was no PARTITION

If there was no PARTITION...

Before starting my BLOG, I would like to clear few things:

1.       I am a Proud & Patriotic Pakistani.
2.       I love Pakistan, BUT I hate my POLITICIANS & System.
3.       I hate HYPOCRITES.

I am a proud Grandson of Khan Bahadur’s Family (Maternal Side) & Grandson of a person who did a lot for the rehabilitation of Muslim Refugees in Sindh especially in Karachi (Paternal side). My forefathers are from Delhi, India. My Grandparent migrated from India for Pakistan. They are the one who belongs from well known background and from a very noble family of Delhi. Entire Delhi knows and respect them. But they give highest importance to Muslim land and migrated to Pakistan and left many things behind. In return of this migration, they have loose health, wealth, memories, emotional attachment with Delhi, Business & many family members (who were killed in violence).
Today, when I logged in my Twitter I saw ‘if there was no PARTITION’ trending in INDIA & PAKISTAN. For a while I think that if really there was no Partition, Where was I supposed to be?? I just tried to see myself where I would be and what I might be doing... And started tweeting...

My Tweets were:

  • ·         If there was no Partition, I must be living in Delhi.
  • ·         If there was no Partition, I must be studying in Delhi University of University of Calcutta.
  • ·         If there was no Partition, I might be wearing Chori-Dar Pajama with Sherwani.
  • ·         If there was no Partition, I must have seen Taj Mahal and dated there many times.
  • ·         If there was no Partition, I do visit Delhi gate weekly as I like it.
  • ·         If there was no Partition, Darjeling & Goa must be my Vacations points.
  • ·         If there was no Partition, Delhi must be a center of Muslim Heritage.
  • ·         If there was no Partition, Hindustan will be ranked first in population. And many more like this.

In return many so called PRO-PAKISTANI’s criticises me as I am writing something which is either ANTI-PAKISTAN or ANTI-ISLAM. I frankly ask you all;

  • ·         Did any of you find anything which is Anti-Pakistan or Anti-Islam in it?
  • ·         Did I say that the sacrifices done by my forefathers were wrong?
  • ·         Did I say that my Grandparents were idiots who migrated to Pakistan and those who didn't come to Pakistan, there decision was right??

Friends, we badly need to grow up. I always say that PAKISTANIS are the Nation whose Tolerance level is ZERO! If those people who replies me in such manner reads everything mentioned in it, won’t say a single word BUT we are the Dispersed Nation who just catches one point and start debating on it. We don’t consider Facts & Figures.

I wish that we all became a Single Nation and work together for a better and prosper Pakistan

Pakistan – A Secular State

Pakistan – A Secular State

Oxford Dictionary defines Secular as ‘Not pertaining to or connected with religion’.
Pakistani’s sometimes take this definition against Islam, just like the Blasphemy Law. None of the Pakistani knows what exactly Blasphemy Law is and who introduced it. Same is with secularism.
Few days back I put following statement on my Facebook Status and tweet it too. Many unbelievable replies were received. Statement was:

I never understood why Islamists are scared of secularism. It’s not an anti-Islamic ideology; it’s simply the separation of state & religion...

First comment was from a PPP jiyala, who totally contradicts with my statement, and asked me to remove my status. He also claimed that PPP is an Islamic Party & B.B Shaheed was a Pro-Islamic politician. I am not saying that she was Anti Islam, but she was a Secular lady. When I recall his memories about B.B Shaheed petition against Jamat-i-Islami / MMA, for not using book sign for election as they give impression of Quran to people. BUT again he disagrees, and didn’t accept anything.

Impression of both political parties PPP & MQM are Liberal & Secular. Even Altaf Hussain has accepted on TV that he even supports Qadyani’s too as they believe on Allah & Finality of Prophet hood. I at least don’t want to discuss Ahmedi’s here, but my point is all about secularism.
Bangladesh is even following same theme. They have separated Religion from State activities. Else political forces of Bangladesh were also using Religion as sympathy and vote.
It’s been more than 64 years; we are the Nation without Patience. Tolerance levels of Pakistani’s are ZERO. If anyone is expressing his feelings, they should at least listen to it, but here, situation is entirely opposite. People are just following ‘MARJAO ya MAARDO’.

Turkey is a proud Secular country, Tolerance level of Turkish people are extra high. If we compare them with Pakistan, our tolerance level is Zero in front of them.

2 years back, when I was serving as Minister for Information Technology for National Youth Parliament, our minister for Education and a very good friend of mine, Varda asked me to draft a resolution and to submit it combine. That resolution was:
To change the name of Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Republic of Pakistan / Pakistan or People’s Republic of Pakistan. Keeping the name of Islam is itself a disrespect to Islam because we are not following any Islamic teachings. Naming Islam and giving Islamic impression doesn’t mean that we have done our work. But unfortunately we didn’t draft that resolution due to many personal reasons; else we were very much interested to discuss this issue and want to see how many Youth are supporting it.

A question always raises in my mind that was Quaid-i-Azam a secular person. After watching many drama’s films and reading many books on Quaid-i-Azam, I have concluded that YES, he was a secular person.

Secularism is a need of today’s life. Why? Because we badly need to increase our tolerance and patience level. If we really want prosper and progressive Pakistan, we urgently need to get rid of this culture.

Once I was listening a Jamat-i-Islami’s spokes person on TV, he says that when they sweep elections, they will announce 1 Tola Gold minimum salary. When I listened his speech, I was amazed and literally laughing. I think current government should meet their Economists to made economic policies... OHHH... Economist, what’s that? I guess majority of the people in their party belong from Madarsah’s and that person was also addressing to Madarasah’s student. If he addresses me, I would stand and asked him with respect, ‘SIR please ask your economist to teach me, I am very bad in ECNOMICS...’

With due respect, most of the Molvi Hazraat are misusing our Religion which is a complete package of life. They are portraying its one phase only. I truly respect all Religious Scholars & Mufti Hazraat from the bottom of my heart, including:

Mufti Rafih Usmani, Mufti Naeemi, Israr ahmed Sahab, Dr. Ghulam Murtaza, Dr. Zakir Naiq etc. They are the one who really portrays real ISLAM & its true Teachings with original essence.

Being a Pakistani, we are the Nation, who is not ready to listen anyone. They are least interested in having healthy debates. I know after reading my blog, many of you will not agree with me and gives me the title of KAFIR/NON-Muslim/AMERICAN-AGENT etc. But it’s my opinion. I am the one who respects your point of view and expects same from you too.
